Do you try it again? (add oils, clarify and reuse, etc) OR just throw it out??

I ask because if a product doesn't give solid results.. I usually pass it on to one of my sisters. I rarely bother with trying it again under a special circumstance (like after clarifying) because my policy for my hair is... if if doesn't work at one point, that means its not practical for my regime. There are some heavy hitter products that i only use after 9 weeks, and i dont try things out on my hair at that time, but if a product doesn't give good results at week 7, i doubt it'll come in handy later on. Plus, almost everything gives me decent results weeks 1-4.

Also, with cheapie conditioners, i use them as shaving cream or slather it on 5-10 mins before as preconditioner

I use it again; I'm the DA that bought 4 packs of ORS Replemishing Pack, use it once, hated it and waited 3 months and used again, still hate it. I won't use the other 2, I've learned my lesson. I have a lot of Kenra products also; now I really hate this product and even though I spent a pretty penny on the items, I will never use this again!

i use it once, i always clarify b4 a new product anyway, and it it doesn't work its getting passed on to cousins or aunties etc

I usually try it a couple more times, experimenting with different application methods. If it still doesn't work I usually pass it on to my friends or my Mom.

I hold on to it until I forget what the result was and try it again...then it usually comes back to me...or I try it on my daughter's hair and, if it doesn't work for her, then I put it up until I forget what the result was and try again. I did this weekend start a hair journal (hard copy for me) so, hopefully, I will cut down on some of this.
