1. It has a strong smell (it smells like wheat germ the grain). I've never smelled MTG so can't make a comparison. I'm not crazy about the smell but I mix into a conditioner with a nice scent so its cool.

3. Its in between IMO. Its heavier than coconut oil but far lighter than castor oil.
Wheat germ is fairly inexpensive so consider getting a smaller bottle first time around.
^^^cosigning...if you care about the receiving the great benefits of wheat germ oil then seal with it for a while. But if you don't want stinky hair then just use a little on your ends or mix with conditioner or pre poo. I love it for all the above.
