Whats the Shortest Amount of Time

you have gone between washing your hair and relaxing..

the shortest Time for me was 2 days...

and do you detangle days ahead as well.. cuz my NG is trippin yo

Less than 24 hours. I had no ill effects.
I detangle right before the relaxer, but I just use my fingers.

For me, 2 days. I'll detangle with my fingers after I apply moisturizer.

Great thread KhandiB!!!!! I'm doing my first self relaxer next thursday and I was wondering the same thing!!!!! I plan on 3 days before but we'll see how that works out!!!!!

I wouldn't do that if I were you !! The shortest amount of time that I would wait would be 3 days minimum...I wouldn't want this to happen to you:

I think it was about 2 days, but I will never do that again because I did end up like that. It was not a good feeling.

I did 2 or 3 days and my head was on fire. I will wait a lil longer next time.

The shortest I have waited is less than 24 hours and I have actually done this several times. I have a problem with spontaneous touch-ups. As soon as 8weeks is up, I will do it on whatever day and at what ever time I feel Im ready. I dont plan ahead.

I experience no burning at all.
