Please forgive me if this has already been discussed. But I wanted to know;

What's the difference between Texlaxing & Texturizing? What are the benefits of one over the other?

You use a texturizer to texturize and you use a relaxer to texlax. Same objective.

Texlaxing: Done with a relaxer - either applied straight and left on for a shorter than usual amount of time, no smoothing etc... Or mixed with conditioner and/or oils to slow down the process. This is done to loosen the curl but not straigthen the hair completely.

Texturizer - Done with a texturizer.

Thanks so much for the responses.

Is there a particular benefit of using the relaxer over using a regular tuxturizer?
