Hi ladies, I plan on texlaxing my hair and I was just wondering what the best product would be to use to do so. Is pcj or Just for Me good enough? TIA. :)

Hi lisanaturally, I use a mild lye relaxer for my texlaxed hair. Are u currently natural? If so mild would definitely be the best choice, if you can you should have someone do it for you or go to a salon (if possible). If not then Yes go with a mild relaxer followed by a hair treatment like ors replenishing conditioner or aphogee keratin treatment. hopefully some other ladies will chime in with more advice.

Good luck :)

Thanks for responding. Yes I am fully natural I have been considering going to a salon or having my sister do it I trust her. Thanks for the advice. :)

I've switched to Phytorelaxer Index I for texlaxing. My hair is not doing well while it's bone straight so now, if I want it straight, I'll flat-iron it.

my most favorite relaxer for texlaxing was vitale ideal relaxer. no burning and it smoothed out my hair nicely but not too much while giving it a silky look. it was a bit hard to find locally but very worth it :yep: i would recommend doing a stand test before using it though to determine processing time because it is very mild.

I use Linange Lye... It is supposed to be a regular relaxer, but no matter my effort, I'm always under processed... But I like that!
