What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I'm looking for a liquid leave in to replace my Biolage leave in, any recommendations?

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Apparently Salerm 21 works for alot of people. I don't know if it's liquid or creamy.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I can't get Salerm products in the UK

For just a watery type leave in, there is 911 and african pride and if you like or tolerate glycerine (i dont) there is african royale daily doctor.

Yes it does very well

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I'm in love with Pantene Light Detangling spray. It makes my hair really soft and helps me comb through my newgrowth.

I like Kenra's leave-in conditioner.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I have the Salerm 21 leave in but when I use a liquid I use
infusion 23 or Fantasia Ic dry hair formula leave in.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Well, I was going to suggest the Biolage Leave-In Tonic but it sounds like that's what you're using. I don't have a salon replacement b/c that's the only salon brand that I've tried.

Why are you looking to replace it? I like that the Biolage is in a large bottle. I've never seen another salon brand in a large bottle like that.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I also like Aveda Elixir - but it's the consistency of hand soap - so not really liquidy. I can't use this alone.

Yes, I am wondering why you'd like to replace it. I cannot think of any liquid leave-ins that are better.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Wow, thanks for starting this thread! I'm also looking for a liquid leave-in to replace Biolage Leave-In Tonic; for some reason it is not agreeing with my hair anymore.

DOes anyone know if the ingredients in the Biolage leave-in are similar to those of Pantene's leave-in? I had this same problem with my Pantene and was looking to switch to Biolage, but if this is going to happen then forget it...LOL

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Pantene and Biolage do not have similar ingredients. I prefer Biolage to the Pantene. I don't know what would have similar ingredients to Biolage.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I use ApHogee's Pro-Vitamin Leave In. I LOVE it...it also detangles well

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Motions nourish leave in - detangles well
Revlon Equave After sun conditioner(its a two phase type of liquid, you need to shake it to mix the two colors)- this is a salon brand product that is actually used to protect hair if you have been in the sun but my stylist uses it as a leave in. It detangles very well. You should be able to get it where the sell Revlon Arosci products. The posters for the Revlon Equave have a white woman with blonde hair on them and the color scheme of the product is yellow and blue. The product is made in spain. I gave all this info for sithembile in case she wants to try this product out.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

I got my best results when I just made my own. However, on the From Nature With Love ( www.fromnaturewithlove.com ) website, they have a recipe book that you can download for free last I checked. They have a recipe in there for a detangler that's supposed to be similar to the Johnson & Johnson detangler if anyone is interested.

ETA: I just went to the site. It's the "Recipe Compilation Book" in the Catalog and File Downloads section of the Resource Center.

Hairlove & Supergirl

Biolage is a good detangler, but I want a leave in that is more moisturising, not just full of cones. I think I'm getting cone overload using this and a serum. I think I may try Arosci once I find out the ingredients.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

When I was natural, the best all-purpose liquid leave in was one I made myself with ingredients from FNWL. It was basically tea water (tension tamer and green tea), glycerin, silk protein, and panthenol.

Re: What\'s the best liquid leave in?

Pantene R&N wrap and set lotion
Pantene light spray detangling leave in.
Both are amazing, comb glides right through my 4/b hair.
