I currently have the wet and wavy from the Janet Collection and I personally think it sucks. It's only been three weeks and it's time to change it.

What is the best human hair you have used and can re-use it if you wanted to

Thanks!

I have heard good stuff about the extensions plus hair, but that is just too much for my budget. http://extensions-plus.com/ReadyMadeV.html

I like the double drawn indian hair from here: http://rkhairproducts.com/online.html

I wish they had more pictures of the curly hair, though. If you put one in the shopping cart, you have choices for super wave, body wave, deep wave and jackson wave. I really can't say what they look like.

I was thinking of doing a search on BHM, because I know many of the ladies there buy from RKHairs.

The shipping is $40 no matter how big the order, but the prices are much better than Extensions Plus. These are reusable, as well as Extensions Plus hair.

The straight hair is not Yaki at all, though. I loved it with braids. I am not sure how I could blend it with a weave, although I have seen some folks do it well.

I do love Janet Collection Gold yaki hair from the BSS. I had no problems at all with that even after shampooing it. It blended well. Not reusable, though.

Thanks! Both of the links you gave me sell very pricey :perplexed I'm not sure if I want to spend that much without seeing the hair first.

I bought the French Curl from Janet Collection and it is okay but I decided to brush it with a wig brush because it kept getting tangled and that was the worse thing that I did. I can't wear it loose because it looks messy now.

Bumping for more responses :)

I don't think I have ever seen anything cheaper than those that you can reuse. Especially in curly hair.

Be sure to search BHM, also. There is a lot more info about weaving and all the different brands of hair there.

I'm going to order some hair from wagmanhair.com. Yes, it's Remy and a tad bit pricey, though cheaper than Extentions Plus. However, the shedding is little to none, great quality, and is reusable. I suggest you go to the site, and request a quote. They'll send you a catalog w/ prices and samples, for free! So you can at least see how you like it. It's worth it! You can reinstall multiple times as long as you take care of it.

They have good quality hair products. I ordered from them a few years ago for braids and was very happy. They raised their prices since than though. :wallbash:

At the time, they did not have a separate page for hair it was on a site with products from string instruments. I guess they realized they could make more money. :look:

I have Wagmans French Body Wave in right now and this is my second install with this stuff. It's Remy and it doesn't tangle. Prior to this, I used to use Adorables but it sheds too much and the hair is not Remy. If you want to reuse your hair, you are not going to be able to use BSS quality. You truly get what you pay for when it comes to buying weave hair. HTH

RKhairs is actually not that pricey for real remy human hair. The prices listed are for 2 packs of hair. Even non-remy good quality BSS hair can cost more. The only thing with them is that DANG SHIPPING! $40 is a lot. When used it for braids, I would buy 3 or 4 to save on the shipping - they charge the same amount no matter how much you buy.

But for weaves, the hair is very reusable so you can get your money's worth. I never was about to reuse for braids though. My hair did very well when I used that hair for braids. It was never dry or matted and the braids were easy to remove.

How much did that run?

I agree! I'm going to purchase some RKhair later just to have on me. They are VERY affordable for Remy hair. I love how their straight hair has a slight wave to it, which allows for multiple looks!

Remy hair is worth the price.

Yeah, they just opened this new site less than a month ago I believe. The prices are going up AGAIN in September! So I'm getting my order in before then.

I've heard that at one time, remy hair used to cost about the same or even less than BSS hair. Mainly because it's actually more expensive to process non Remy hair. But supply and demand have really taken its toll...

I can't remember exactly but I know I bought 16 ounces because I wanted extra. I know it was less than $300. I'm going to see if I can check my credit card statement and get back to you later but I'm pretty sure it was less than $300.
