Hello ladies I was in the BSS today and I was looking at all the different irons they have and sizes. I would like to know what's the best to use and size?

I'm not sure what the best is, but I have and love my Jilbere Ceramic Flat Iron 1". It does the job for me (although I don't use it often at all).

Hi,
I just bought Maxiglide with the steam option. It was a little pricey, but I really like it. I've not used it as often as I thought because I now do a home version of the Dominican blowout, but I'm going to try to airdry then use the iron to straighten like they suggest.

Good luck!

I've used a CHI and a Sedu. The Sedu wins, hands down. I have the 1". I think the smaller ones are better for getting closer to the root.

Well I just received the FHI but haven't tried it yet, so i'll give the results on that later but i've tried the Jilbere Ceramic and it works great.

Thanks alot Ladies so I thinking about the 1" Chi or Jilbre 1". Can I get some price ranges on these?

Love your avatar pic. Your hair looks very pretty. Did you use your Jilbere flat iron to get that look?

I just bought a Sedu and tried to use it last night. I ended up burning a piece of my hair. What temperature do you put it on, and what products do you use when you flat iron?

Allandra, yes I did use the Jilbere to get it straight. I was so happy my hair actually got that straight. So I definitely recommend this flat iron for those on a budget!

I almost burned my hair the first time I used my Sedu as well, because I didnt realize that the degrees on it are in Celcius and it got TOO hot, I had to get online and convert them to Fahrenheit. I put mine on 160 and swipe my hair once vertically and once horizontally to get it straight and curled to where I want it. I use Biosilk Silk Therapy before and IC Hair Polisher after.
