What's the best Ceramic & ionic blowdryer?

I know this probably has been asked a hundred times before but i tried searching & couldnt find exactly what im looking for. I've had my current blowdryer for about 4 yrs, Conair blackbird 2000 watts, but i feel like its slowly but surely burning my hair to a crisp. I recently used my friend blowdry which was ceramic and ionic & it tamed my body wave weave and my texlaxed hair thats left out so well! It was 1875 which took a while to dry my hair. It turned me off since im used to my 2000 watts. So what are some good ones out there??


ETA: I was a subscribed member many moons ago, went away to college and didnt take care of my bra strap thick hair that i worked so hard to obtain!...(remembers new years resolution of being more positive).. so basically im trying to get back on track.

no matter what type of ionic/ceramic tools you use you can still get lots of damage if you hair is the type that doesn't like alot of heat. what's your budget for a blowdryer minimum-maximum? what is your reggie as well....you may need to up the protein since you use heat. are you chemically treated or natural? chi, fhi, hana, t3,and solano are good professional brands.

I have 4a/4b thick hair. my hair does well with heat. Its when i dont treat my hair ( etc. no dc ) that it starts to break off. Im willing to spend up to $100 for a good blowdryer. My reggie right now consists of doing a apple cider vinegar rinse to clarify my scalp and braids which is followed by deep conditioning (i alternate from my qp elasta moisturizer & silicon mix) my weave, my braids underneath and my hair left out for an hour under the dryer then after that rinses out i sit under the dryer for aboout 45 mins to dry up the braids underneath. I put the little bit of hair left out in a roller then i blowdry & flat iron with my chi air & oil my scalp with a alma-evoo-organic coconut-& castor oil mix. I do this once every 2-3 weeks and oil my scalp every 3 days. I purchased megatek today so ill be squeezing that into my regimen too. I tried going natural for 6 months but that didnt work out for me because the maintenance conflicted with being a full time student ans working 20-25 hr per week so my roots are texlaxed and my ends are somewhat straight.

I really like my Sedu 4000i. It drys my very big hair in about 15 minutes. Before purchasing this hair dryer, I would average about 30-45 minutes blow drying. Literally I would need to take a break every 15 minutes. lol
