I dont know what the best is.. but I have a Lady Dazey 1200 watt.. I love it, it dries my hair quickly and I dont think it cost more than $30.

I would like to know as well. I have a Golden Hot. It does the job and is pretty inexpensive but the heat settings aren't as high/strong as the salon dryers. I purchased mine from Sally's beauty supply.

I have the one Lorraine has, but my heat setting are INTENSE. I mean it is really hot. Maybe I lucked up and got a good one and I only paid 20.00 for mine
