I'm a newbie and I'm learning alot here on LHCF. One question I can't answer myself is what's my hair type. I've have attached a few pics of my natural roots.

Your curls look like mine, small spirals, so I'd say you are 4a too.

I'm no expert, but I'd say your hair type is coily 4a and you seem to have a silky hair texture.
