What's Hair Groom by Wild Root????

My mother said that her mother used this in her hair when she was little.

Does it work well?

The only thing that I know about it is that it's a hairdressing creme, and I think that is has oils in it.

Sorry, I don't have a picture, but I have seen this product in Dollar General. I've looked at it several times, but always passed on it due to the petroleum. The consistency reminds me a lot of Razac Perfect for Perms Hairdress.

It's petrolatum based hairdressing. It comes in lotion form, too. The jar is tiny with black and orange lettering. Here's the lotion--
