Check this out: Should I trim these hairs or is it just some type of frizz?

you don't need to trim those hairs if the ends aren't split. Looks normal to me. you just have some shorter hairs mixed in with the longer ones, so they will stick out unless you use something to slick them down....Just let it growth out and deal with it as frizz.

ITA leave that beautiful hair along!!!

Mine is the same. I assume that different hairs are at varying stages of the growth cycle.

I agree with everyone else looks like frizz. My hair does the same thing especially if i've had twists in for a week or more.

OMG!!!

I'm so glad I came in this thread! I have been freaking out because my hair looks the same way and I thought it was all splits.

Last week I ordered all kinds of Domenician conditioners to try to get rid of them and it turns out they arent splits at all!

Looks like baby hairs...just hair at different growth phases. I wouldn't cut it.

The thing is, I had just finished styling my hair when I noticed this, so it wasn't styled for a week.

Mine looks like that sometimes, but it depends on the products I use. I recently started adding a little mousse/foaming wrap lotion to my hair when I do my twists. They dry a little shinnier (sp?) and in the back, where my hair texture is finer, it holds better without unraveling as quickly.

Off topic: Bubln, I love that song you quoted in your siggy!!!

Your hair looks very healthy... no need to trim in my opinion.
