Could someone please explain the conditioner wash and it's benefits. I am hearing a lot about this but haven't found a thread that explains the procedure/benefits.
When I do a conditioner wash the only thing I am doing is using conditioner in place of the shampoo. I put the co in my hair and massage in just like I would as if I were shampooing.
The benefits: Less shedding, soft hair, lots of body, minimun or no breakage
I used to them @ 15 years ago when I had short, texturized hair (and didn't even know that's what it was called!). Of course, when my hair started growing, I stopped.
I do them all the time now - I love them.
One woman who's brought a lot of focus to CWs is Lorraine Massey. She has a book titled, Curly Girl. HTH.
