whats a braid out

sorry...im still getting used to some of the common terms used here. it sounds like a braid out isn't just wearing braids for a while...? I do braid my hair as i wash one section at a time and b4 I go 2 bed. but this sounds like smethng diff u doing...

A braid out is when you put your hair in braids either square (single) plaits or cornrows, usually while you hair is damp, and then when your hair dries out, you undo the braids and wear your hair wavy. The waves having been created by the pattern your hair forms when you braid. If you look at Peachtree's album there are pictures showing her braid-out.
