Hi Everyone,

I cut my hair a few weeks ago and it is now short. I have been using the curling iron almost everyday. I know it is bad, bad for your hair. I was thinking of using hot rollers/hairsetters. I have used Caruso steam curlers and it left my hair soft and moisturized however it left dents in my hair and my curls wouldn't last. My hair is thick and coarse also and it is cut into a short bob about ear length in the front and the sides and it shorter in the back and layered.
Does anyone know a really good hairsetter that is 1) inexpensive 2) gets the job done 3) And doesn't damage your hair.

At the end of the year I would like to start growing my hair out again and I don't want to have all of this damaged hair. The reason why I cut my hair off in the first place was when my son turned 4 months old my hair started to fall out and shed like crazy. For starters I didn't take my prenatal vitamins like I should have. Second, I was using the Vitale lye relaxer and my hair started thining with that too. So I think it was a combination of everything. I am surprised I wasn't bald. So there was long and short pieces and I had to cut my hair.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for your help in advance!!!
