I've finally used Creme of Nature shampoo with the yellow cap. MARVELLOUS!!! I shampooed yesterday and my hair feels SO soft! I do think that as I've been drinking more water and neglecting my poor old hair less is helping but I love this shampoo. And you guys at LCHF have been recommending it for a long time

Any of you guys find a hair revelation that took you ages to discover? It took me a while after I joined the board to use less heat. My ends are thanking me that I don't blast em twice a month on the hottest setting on the blow dryer (I know, I know!)

I might even try going back on MSM and trying Biotin for the first time! LOL

Hey Daughter.....It took me a while to use and reap the benefits of Aubrey Organics products. When I began shopping at the VitaminShoppe back in 1992, I would notice these green and white bottles in the hair care section...I was impressed with the natural ingredients, but chose to stick with the product I was using at the time. I was tired of being a PJ.....LOL...It was one day in 1996 that I decided to ask a young black girl who worked in the store if she has ever tried AO prods. We had the same texture of hair. She went on to tell me all the benefits of using AO prods, I was more than convinced, and the rest is history. She even told me the prods that were best for our hair type. I bought the prods and began using them, and my hair has never been so healthy.....So yes, I know what it feels like to find something that really works for you. And I say to myself I could have been using these prods all along..

Daughter, if you like the Creme of Nature shampoo, I recommend trying the Creme of Nature nourishing conditioner in the white bottle with the purple cap. That stuff is the absolute best conditioner I have EVER tried. It does fabulous things to my hair.

I too was late on trying Creme of Nature products, but now I can't say enough good things about it!!

I've heard a lot of good stuff about Aubrey's... can't find it here in London unless I go to a health shop I suppose...

conditioner?! Oh boy I'll keep an eye out for that, didn't spot it last time I went to the shop. Thanks!

Things that I discovered: Using oils on my ends, getting rid of the curling iron, and using conditioner more often.

Recently I discovered that I need to use plastic clips. Without them I got breakouts on my scalp and breakage in the places where my scalp got irritated because I'm allergic to "fake" metals

but, now it's fine. In fact I have rollers in now and there's no irritation... and everything's growing back fine.
