I haven't had a relaxer in about 8 months and while my NG is fairly long my temples are short, short, short after falling out postpartum. :wallbash: They have grown back in but tend to be very noticeable since they don't stay straight for long and curl back up! I don't mind the curls but it just looks crazy to me and it will be a LONG time before that hair is long enough to not to have to be slicked or even catch up to the rest of the newgrowth!

Help please. What products can I use to smooth my curls down so they blend in and perhaps help them grow faster (than the rest of my head!). THANKS!

I used Hairveda's Almond Glaze.....But I am sure there are probably some DS brands that work just as well...I have just not found any for my hair

I use Hicks Total Transformation Smooth Edges. It does a very good job keeping my NG in place.

Go old school and use let's jam mega hold, wet the brush w/ some water and brush it back. Also for added hold tie a scarf around your head until it sets. That is what I did in high school when my edges had a lot of new growth.

Yes the one with the red top :yep:. I use it, too. I do this same regimen.

i vote hairveda almond glaze. apply then tie with a satin scarf while you get ready for work.

pregnancy did a number on my edges too. they fell all the way out then took about three months to grow back. (make sure you moisturize and seal at night and stay away from stressful styles like ponytails)

you can see my progress in my fotki - havilland. (it's in the 2008 album)

good luck and congrats!
