What to do with conditioner that you don\'t like?

When I use a shampoo and I don't like it, I use it as shaving cream or a body wash.

When I use conditioner that I don't like, I give it another try by using it with the addition of some oils (olive, castor, avocado, etc.) When that fails, what do I do?

I don't want to throw it out because then my money is really wasted.

I shave with it or dilute it with lots of water and use it to groom my cat.

I dilute old shampoos that I don't like with H20 and use that when I wash my hair during my braiding regime. Like you I have special "mix-ins" for my conditioners or I mix them with a little of the good conditioners that works so that I can use it. I don't like wasting my money either.

I try to trade it, or ig that doesn't work then I'll use for pre poo conditioning.

Shoooooo, cat detangler costs a fortune. I was using Humecto until a board member was so horrified that she asked me to give it to her!

I mix it w/another and use it as a pre-poo treatment. I've also added coconut milk to it.

Use it for a co wash...I haven't used one not even good for that, yet. You could always offer it up for trade, too.

Shoot,Before joining the hair board I was tossing out conditioners that I dont like never thought of mixing it or adding something to it.

I sometimes use it as a leave-in for wash and go hair or I'll use it as shaving cream.

If they are cheap I dump them. I have enough crap laying around my house already.

<font color="purple">Isn't it a good thing that you can really use cheap conditioners for other uses rather than wasting your money on the more expensive ones that don't work? For some of my Suave conditioners (with the exception of Tropical Coconut), I would mix it with shea butter, EVOO, avocado oil, emulsifying wax, distilled water and essential oil of your choice, to make body butter or hair butter that smells so good. Or take some cholesterol mix it with the conditioner, shea butter, Castor oil, jojoba oil, lavender and rosemary essential oils for a moisturizing deep conditioning treatment. I'm really cooking up with ideas, huh?

Oh, BTW, I agree with everyone on using the conditioner for shaving. Very moisturizing indeed. </font>

I add oils and coconut milk and use on my conditioner washes.

1. I mix with other conditioners
2. throw it away
3. give it to my husband to use (he gets shampoos that I don't like either)
