And honestly I don't even really know what grease is, I don't really like the term it reminds me of when white people would ask me if I 'grease' my hair and do I use motor oil and crisco...

Well, that was more than you asked for. I don't use anything on my scalp, I don't like how it feels.

I have to put something on my scalp, or I'd scratch it to death! It gets so dry.
My hair loves oils...jojoba and MTG (yeah, I stink! ) work best for me.

I really like using Dabur Amla Lite oil on my scalp. I don't prefer to use the Doo Gro grease (don't like the greasiness or the smell), but I use it anyway maybe once a week because it works.

My scalp is oily on its own so I don't add oils directly on it if I can help it. (ok sometimes my rose oil mix gets on there but not enough oil to make me nuts)

I like Vatika oil, my coconut oil/tea tree oil mix or Profectiv. These penetrate well and stop dry scalp

I cant remember the last time I put anything on my scalp. If it feels dry some times during the winter, Ill lightly oil it with coconut oil but thats about it.

i don't put anything on my scalp except for conditioner when i wash it and even that gets rinsed off. i condition my hair and scalp so often that i never have dry scalp so i don't need any extra oils, etc.

I like to massage a little oil into my scalp when it feels dry. WGO is my favorite after washing.
