Getting cornrows that is! I've already done a mild protein treatment and had my ends dusted, so what have you ladies had success with as far as moisturizing the hair before cornrowing?

Here's my routine, I shampoo with a mix of Parnevu T-Tree and Surge Powerwash, I make sure I detangle while I'm washing, I do a deep conditioner and cover with a plastic cap for at least 45 minutes, I use a cream leave in like Salerm 21 or Wojee Cream and ORS Carrot Oil, then I blow my hair straight, this last time I airdried and let the shop blow it out right before twisting. HTH
P.S. I use Hairobics Hair and Scalp Booster to help alleviate the scalp tension from the braider pulling my hair, if you can't find that, then use a mix of peppermint oil and olive oil on your scalp(warning: don't use too much peppermint oil, a few drops go a long way, because peppermint oil is very, very strong if used alone)

I agree with Oglorious1. Just make sure you do a protein treatment along with your "the works" shampoo regimen and moisturize with EVOO.
