denam (not sure how it's spelled though)
natraul bristles
wood base
I'm sure the other ladis here could tell you more :)

I think Tasha means a Denman brush. THey truely are da bomb, detangles well and doesn't rip out the hair. They have the mixed bristel brush with boar hair and nylon bristle which is excellent for detangling.

I really don't like brushes. If I absolutely have to use one, I have one of the small denmans. It takes some of my hair with it, which is why I don't brush much. Don't brush for fun or to stimulate your scalp if you see any breakage!

I needed a new boar brush and a few weeks ago I purchased the mixed bristle denman from tenderheaded.com and I hated it. My mom now has it- it was way too hard for my scalp. I went to the the local Duane Reade drug store and picked up a Conair 100 % boar bristle brush for about ten bucks. I like it.

The mixed bristol is supposed to be good for smoothing but I've found that it is kinda harsh too, so I've LIMITED my usage because it was messing up my hairline:eek:. I actually like the detangling brush better, it has only nylon teeth but I got a regular ole good and it does the job and costs a fraction of the price of a denman!
