Hey, I have this same problem too! I lose a lot of hair in the crown area, I think it's because I wrap set after I wash it and it causes more breakage. In the front mid area, I sometimes lose hair there also, I don't know exactly what contributes to that but I would like to know myself also!

basically I perm my own hair deep condition every week use a protein treatment every 6 weeksmy hair does nit break but when a full strand comes out you can bet it is coming from tat section of my head it is as if that is the most sensitive part of my head

I used to have a spot in the back that always broke. I find that making sure the relaxer is not overlapping will probably help. Also don't start you relaxer at that point do that part last if you can. Another key: lots of moisture!
Make sure you are keeping your hair moist, especially that section. It needs extra TLC! What type of moisturizers do you use? What is you hair type? Some types are more dry than others.

That is usually the main problem. Sometimes because our weakest area is the most overprocessed it may seem more coarse than the rest when in reality it is the softest most fine part of the head. I know that my weak spot is not nearly as thick as the rest of my hair. It is fine and easily straightened.
