what products do you use while you flat iron?

I'm glad you made this post! I am curious as well. I know a lot of people say that Wild Growth Oil is good b/c it keeps your hair from reverting. I think I will probably use this when I flat iron my hair but I am curious as to what other products people use.

I used Hair Milk when I do flat iron, makes my hair feel like silk. I like to keep the products at a minimum so Ill have bouncy hair.

I use a heat protectant and a creamy moisturizer.

· New Image Damage Free Thermal Active Conditioning Styler (Heat Protectant)

· Kiehl's Crème with Silk Groom

I use Palmer's Coconut Oil.

BEFORE I flat iron

I use Redken So Long Heat Treat mostly. I also have used Dudley Creme Press, Profective Healthy Ends, and ORS Olive Oil Moisturizer more recently. In the past I've used Paul Mitchell Heat Seal and Paul Mitchel Seal and Shine.

Elasta Qp Silk Thermal Designing Liquid.
I spray it on damp hair and then sit under the dryer. I unbraid my sections then straighten a bit with the blow dryer and proceed to flatiron.

They don't sell Dudly products at Sally's. I saw it at a couple of local beauty supply stores.

has anyone used smooth'n shine hair polisher while flat iron if so can you tell me what was the results thanks.

Although I have this product, I've never used it while flat ironing my hair. I would use it afterwards though.

Someone gave me some of this recently-will try this technique.

I've used the Smooth and Shine polisher with great results. I use it after I spray my hair with Elasta H-two and then add a small amount of Tigi Afterparty. My results are consistent with these products.

I like dudley's creme press you can use it on relaxed or natural, but a word of advice only use a little a little goes a long ways

In a recent post I asked for recommendations because my presses would only last a few hours before reverting. WGO was highly recommended so I thought I would give it another try.

After I washed and conditioned, I greased (yes, I still use grease) my hair, braided it in sections, and let air dry overnight. Then I flat ironed with the WGO. That was Sunday, today is Wednesday and I'm still straight!!!!
