I am wondering what stage of the hair regemin is the most important in getting your hair to 'behave' and giving it the most amount of moisture.

If deep conditioning is included in the "wash" stage, then that's my vote

The styling products I used are just things to seal in the moisture from the conditioning and the provide a little hold.

I can't even respond?! I have to agree, it's a package deal for me. I think if I did one w/o the other it would be disaster.

yeah, both are just as important to me, but i picked the wash stage. if i do that right, i don't lose as much hair overall, and especially when i style it.

I have to say the wash/condition stage. I hardly ever comb and style. Only on the weekend if then. Maybe I should try that part more often.

I'd have to say detangling, styling, and maintenance because when I don't take the time to do that right, my hair will really suffer, regardless of the products I used to wash it.
