What makes hair thicker?

Can anything make hair thicker? I am not talking about new growth but hair thats already grown out? castor oil maybe?

I've never tried castor oil, so that I can't speak about. However, recently I've been experimenting with S-Curl moisturizer... well, after every application (the next day), my hair is extremely "thicker" than it was before I applied it. The first time, my hair was a big, thick frizz ball

, but the next time I applied some Hot Six Oil with the S-Curl and my hair was really smooth & thick afterwards. Another thing... my hair is naturally thick, so I tend to stay away from products that enhances this. But because S-Curl leaves my hair really moisturized, I've continued to use it. I hope it workds for u...let me know how it goes...
