I bought Nexxus Phyto Organic thermal protection. I'm not sure if it was good or not. It didn't make my hair hard like another one I used. But that's all I can think of. So what makes it a good protectant?

I like the ones that are LOADED with cones (like dimethicone I think) because they form a barrier in your hair, silk protein is good and if its closer to the bottom of the list it probably wont make your hair frizz.

Look out for it has water because it will probably allow your hair to frizz, and if it has alcohol its a d*mn lie and won't protect you from sh*t. If it has mineral oil it will probably no make your hair shine and probably make it greasy.

Silk Elements Glossing Polish and Biosilk Polisher both are the best heat protectants I have used. They arent called protectants but they actually work better than the products that say they protect your hair.

EDIT ****Uhhh now I see the links lol disregard all this then
