What makes a hair product for a man?

Just wondering because I have been using my DH's Elasta QP for men as a spray on light moisturizer.

Just want to make sure I wont be growing a mustache any time soon.

Probably just marketing right?

for hair ... it's just marketing. i buy whatever i think will be good for my hair, based on what's inside the box, not who's face is on it.
