As in high school and in college, many would be on a 4 year plan, some on a 5, 6, or even a 10 year plan with completing their degrees.

So:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?

How many months/years have you completed?

What have you accomplished thus far?

I'll go:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
3 year plan- graduating in 2010 with full MBL hair
How many months/years have you completed?
1.2 years
What have you accomplished thus far?
Healthier hair, a solid regimen, and the knowledge that proper moisture/protein balance helps to retain length.

I am on a 4 year plan.
I have successfuly completed 7 months....:yep:
I plan on reaching my unstreched goal (waistlength) by 12/31/2012.
What have you accomplished thus far?
My main goal was to go natural (done)
Then to grow out my TWA (done)
Be able to do a ponytail on wet and dry hair (done)
Reach APL (longest layer) by 12/31/2008 (in progress)

My regimen is solid, I have no plans to change it.

I have completed 2 months so far
I plan on graduating with a solid regimen; one that is simple yet successful. Also, I'll be walking across the stage with healthy, thick WL hair.

C/O 2012 stand up!

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I'm on a 4-year plan to reach hipbone length. I began my hair journey on 7/1/2006, with damaged, a-lil-past-necklength hair. I see myself reaching WL by year-end 2008, HL by year-end 2009 and by Summer 2010, I plan to graduate with full HL hair.

How many months/years have you completed?
2 years down; 2 years to go

What have you accomplished thus far?
Thick and healthy hair that's about 2" from WL; I should reach WL by year-end 2008, so I am right on track.:yep:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
2 year plan - graduating in 2010 with MBL (I hope. I am at APL now. I'm allowing a few setbacks so I won't be disappointed.)

How many months/years have you completed?
1 year that was actually productive.... 1.6 years to get into the swing of things.

What have you accomplished thus far?
I know my hair better (we're on speaking terms), thicker and healthier hair, healthy regimen, and an understanding of what my hair needs/wants/hates/loves. :yep:

So:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal? I plan to graduate class of 2012 with Waist length hair.:look:

How many months/years have you completed? 7 months completed.

What have you accomplished thus far? I was able to transform severely damaged ear-length hair into healthier hair without BC'ing. It wasn't easy but I'm proud of myself.:bah: to the Stylists that told me that my hair couldn't be saved and that my only option was to cut it. I still have a long way to go in order to reach my goals.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal? I am on a ~4 year plan to grow healthy WL hair. I plan to be APL for Christmas 2008, BSL for Christmas 2009 and WL by Christmas 2010.

How many months/years have you completed? I have completed almost 2 years

What have you accomplished thus far? So far I have successfully transitioned from relaxed to natural, I've mastered the wash and go, developed a solid regimen of shampoos moisturizers and styling tools, reduced my heat usage to 1 time/2months (I'm hoping to get it down to twice/year), and I've grown my hair past shoulder length

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?

I should be atleast BSL by 2010

How many months/years have you completed?
1.5 years consistently

What have you accomplished thus far?
I know and understand my hair alot better. I have mastered rollersetting, airdrying successfully, picking out products, and styling well with minimal heat.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?

I want to be BSL by the end of 2009.
Continue to moisurize my hair and baby my ends so very little dusting will be needed.

How many months/years have you completed?
I have been taking strong care of my hair for about 3 years

What have you accomplished thus far?
I am pretty sure of what products work well with my hair. I get my hair washed, deep conditioned and roller set once a week and have started to rarely use direct heat on it.

I now sleep with a scarf on nightly and do more updos while at work in order to protect my ends from my chain and my sweaters.

I'm on a two year plan. 15 more months to go.

I'm sure I'll have some set back somewhere in there. I only have a goal length of APL which I'm sure I'll hit before my plan is up...but we shall see. :look: Currently suffering anorexia...as it inches closer to my goal, it doesn't seem like enough hair.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
2011
How many months/years have you completed?
1.4 years
What have you accomplished thus far?
Pics in my siggy, healthy hair, solid hair regimen.

So:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I graduate from med school in 2012 (so 5 year plan counting last year) and I hope by then to have longer than BSL hair stretched. I want to say waistlength but I'm not sure if I want my hair that long....

How many months/years have you completed?
I've been here 11 months or so

What have you accomplished thus far?
I had a lot of setbacks trying to figure things out but I took all my damaged hair and chopped it off. My hair with the relaxed portions is shoulder length from less that 1inch in the back and neck length just natural. I have transitioned for 10 months and plan to BC in the either Nov or the summer...can't decide yet! Also I have finally nailed down some solid products and routines that work for my transitioning hair!

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I plan to be waistlength in two years, December 25, 2010 and meet this goal by eating healthy, exercising, scalp massages, drinking water, and taking vitamins.

How many months/years have you completed?
I have completed 9 months.

What have you accomplished thus far?
I am two years and one month into my transition, I know how to limit/ eliminate heat, I now know about deep conditoning, maintain moisture/protein balance, and that my hair struggles are mostly internal deprivation of much needed nutrients.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I am on a five year plan - graduating in 2012 with PBL (Pelvic bone length, aka hip length.)

How many months/years have you completed?
Journey began January 2008, so nine months completed.

What have you accomplished thus far?
I've learned my hair's needs and how to address them. Developed a healthy regimen, and gotten my hair from above shoulder to two inches from APL, without the aid of a holy grail conditioner.

Cute thread!

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal? I am on a 4 year plan and my goal is to be bsl by 2012.

How many months/years have you completed? Next month will be my official start month b/c I am either texturizing or relaxing my twa.

What have you accomplished thus far? I would love to say that I have found my staple leave-in/moisturizer but want to give it a few more months before I claim it as a staple.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
hmm, I'm on 4 yr plan. And i plan on graduating in 2012, and getting my BSL degree. But who knows, I may graduate earlier.

How many months/years have you completed?
well, i started a few wks before joining LHCF, so appx 2 months

What have you accomplished thus far?
And I've learned more about hair care in general. I learned that i used to trim to often. And of course, the "moisture/ protein balance". And a lot of reviews about different products, and a better regimen.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I am on a 2 and a half year plan and will graduate in 2010 with BSL hair.
How many months/years have you completed?
I have completed 7 months
What have you accomplished thus far?
Retention, shine and greater manageability

So:

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I'm planning on being WL by next year.

How many months/years have you completed?
I have been a member since since 2005 and started with bone straight relaxed, shoulder length hair. I transitioned, BCed, played with my natural hair, texturized, and now I'm just focusing on length.

What have you accomplished thus far?
I have gained, healthy brastrap length hair.

What is your hair year plan for successfully reaching your goal?
I'm giving myself 4 years at MOST (thats being generous lol), so by the time I graduate and receive my BA I am hoping I have reached my goal

How many months/years have you completed?
I started this journey January 2008 (when I BCed).. so I'm completed 8 months so far

What have you accomplished thus far?
My hair is healthier, extremely soft, I can do a WnG and (when flat ironed) I am at the length I was before I BCed .. Shoulder Length.
