It has no oil in it. Does a great job of making my hair silky,shiny and moisturized. You can use a ton of it and your hair won't feel greasy. It smells great too.

OLIVE OIL SHEEN SPRAY by Organic Root Stimulator. Love it!
Better than Isoplus by a ton. Great sheen without the greasy hands.

Right now it's Alternatives. I also like to use it as a light hair oil. I've heard that Finisheen by Revlon is pretty good too, so I may give that a try.

Hey Rayne,

I used to absolutely LOVE Finisheen by Revlon. It was probably the best and only sheen I used for some 4 years. The only thing is, it has alcohol in it, so I stopped using it for the most part on my own hair. It is still great for my wigs.

I am looking for a similar type of spray, that doesn't just add oil, but is a nice styling spray.

my favorites are KeraCare Silken Seal and Motions Sheen, but any of them will do in a pinch.

ORS olive oil spray, it's smells so good. It almost smells like Tide, alot of their products do though! And it's light, not to greasy or heavy!

Hmmm, actually Rayne I've been using it like 6 years....and the alcohol in it never seemed to bother my hair much before. It just seemed to be prone to dryness when worn out anyway.

Does anybody think it is better to use an oil sheen without alcohol, or do you all think it doesn't matter?

mschichi, if you've been using it for that long without problems, i would say it doesn't matter. is your hair prone to dryness worn down even when you don't use the Finisheen?

how far down is alcohol on the list of ingredients?

I like IsoPlus and Alternatives right now although they both leave your hands greasy and will weigh your hair down if you apply too much.

Er, it may not give my hair "sheen" per se, but I like Aubrey Organics Jojoba oil. It's light and protective.

The alcohol is the 3rd ingredient out of 7. I think I will get another can of it for sometime use, and get another oil sheen for more frequent use.

My favorite oil sheen spray is Matrix Biolage Shine Renewal. It comes in a little pump spray bottle, and it comes out in a light mist. This product is alcohol free.

I just bought some of Revlon's Finisheen and I love it. The reason that i wanted to try it is because it is one of the few oil sheens that I have come across that does not contain mineral Oil.
