What is Texturized Hair?

Okay..can somebody educate a sister who's known nothing but relaxed for the last nearly 20 years?

What is texturizing, and what does it involve? Is it similar to relaxing? How does it affect your natural hair, if at all?

I just learned a year ago. At texturizer is a relaxer that is not left on the hair as long. It is meant to loosen the curls/kinks. Some people get curly hair from them and others (like me) get waves. The results are dependent upon your natural curl pattern. Mine is very tightly coiled naturaly.
