Is it the same as a texturizer? How do you make sure it doesnt overlap or leave it in too lang and make your hair completely straight?

I still don't know what a texturizer is but I'm suspecting that it's just another name for relaxer. I think texlaxing is when you leave the relaxer on for less then the recommended time.

I'm sure others will chime in.

Umm what I've considered "texlaxing" to be is not leaving the relaxer on for the full "processing" time in order to keep some texture into the hair.
I just heard about this term from LHCF, my stylists had been doing it to my hair for years because my hair wasn't really "resistant" I guess.

It's basically a relaxer. Either too mild or not left in long enough to make the hair straight. It loosens the curl pattern. Same as a texturizer.

I used to have one...

I would prevent overlapping by rollersetting my hair. The texlaxed part would come out straight, while the newgrowth would be wavy.
