What is my hair type?

Im sorry my pics came out so big. I know I asked this before but I think it should be a little easier to tell now that my hair is growing out. Here are some strands of my hair after being washed. My hair is very tightly curled with some relaxed ends that I refuse to cut right now. The last pic is of my hair after being tied down. Am I a 4a?

It would be easier to tell if you wash your hair, detangle, and then let it air dry without manipulating the hair.

The front of my hair looks almost identical to that! 5.5 months post btw. Sorry... but Idk myself... hopefully somebody can help.

I agree with Boston Maria. But if I had to take a guess it would be 4a, with a touch of 4b in some areas

those definitely look like 4a waves. i do think it would be easier to tell with your hair unrestrained, but this is what i gather from what you gave us.

Looks like 4b to me. That's what my hair looks like. I think that 4b's do have a curl pattern, but it's just EXTREMELY tight and therefore not as noticeable.
