MTG - Mane Tail Groom..horse hair oil. www.Shapleys.com ..yes, I haven't used it, but general consensus is it smells really bad.
Henna - Natural Indian hair dye/conditioner..maybe (read it's not good for relaxed or you need some special type and process for it.)

They can both be used on relaxed hair. I've never used MTG but I do henna. As long as you use BAQ henna your hair will be fine. YOu should still do a strand test though. Here's a henna ebook:

I use both and yes, MTG does smell really bad (so i will definitely try to make my own someday) and the henna is really good. It gave me great shine and the strenngth of my hair definitely increased. They are both keepers for me at the moment (until i make my own MTG).

MTG really doesn't smell that bad as its made out to be. It smells like Dax to me, some say it smells like bacon. If you put it on at night the smell is gone by the morning. It does aid in hair growth. My hair is definitely longer than it has ever been(MTG+healthy hair regimen) and I credit MTG for allowing me to grow more in a month than I usually would. Shoot I just had a growth spurt last month...I'm thinking it was the MTG
