What is all da hype surrounding Wild Growth?

It was burning my nose the first time I used it. Now I use a lot less. The smell takes some getting used to.

it (WGO) contains the same acids as FLAXSEED OIL and they add iron and other vitamins for strength. Same thing with the Aphogee oil...with Aphogee, you get more for your money. I have used all three with peppermint oil added to mask the smell. They keep my hair pretty soft when I wear cornrows.

I like it. The smell isn't that bad to me. WGO made my new growth soft and kept it tamed too. That's the real benefit. I don't use it much now because I can't stand the itchiness anymore! Whew! I mostly use it for the shine now. That's another benefit for my hair.

i never used it long enough to see results. I just couldn't take the smell anymore.

I just started using it and plan to use it every few days. It does keep me pretty moistured. I really do not notice the smell at all unless I just sniff it directly. But then again, my sense of smell is so out of wack tha tI will not smell something that smells horrible UNLESS someone standing next to me says, "eeew, something stinks!" I promoise you, that is when I smell it! Before then, I absolutley will not smell anything! So no surprise here that I dont smell the WGO. toot-a-loo

That's interesting - how do you use this? i.e. what kind of lavendar, from where, how much, etc?

come to think of it. the first time (the only time) i used it, it softened my hair ALOT. If it wasnt for the smell i would keep using it. I might attempt to mask the smell. i put mass lavendar in it and i could still smell it.

I don't mind the smell. it really works for me. i got tons of faster new growth after using it for a month or so.
