what is a baggy?

Baggy method also known as green house effect (ghe method ) some dampen their hair and seal with and oil or butter and put a plastic cap on and a scarf to give it the steam effect and lock in moisture. Some don't dampen the hair, some just put oil or any type of sealer. You wake up with moisturized hair

I love the baggy method, which varies slightly from the GHE...like the previous poster stated when baggying you only baggy the ends of your hair as opposed to the GHE where you place a plastic cap over all of your hair.

The baggy method helps your ends maintain moisture by not allowing moisturizers to escape via evaporation or being sucked up by scarf or bedding while the GHE creates a moisture rich climate for your hair and scalp.

I've never tried it but I've always said I would like to baggy my puff.

When I'm wearing my puff using the combination of pineappleing and baggying is the only way I can preserve the style and keep ssk, tangles and dry hair at bay. By the way my hair is never "wet" when I baggy....just nicely moisturized.
