I ask because many people consider ORS Creamy Aloe a chelating shampoo and when I read the bottle (unless I am missing something) it does not claim to be a chelating shampoo. Thoughts?

No, I mean what specific ingredients in a shampoo make it chelating shampoo? Is it a certain sulfate?I just did a Google Search: While they both remove product build-up, the chelating shampoo contains ingredients that remove Metals such as Iron and other metals, calcium that are contained in water.
I believe it is the Disodium EDTA that serves as the chelating agent.
CHELATORS ARE:
Disodium EDTA
Tetrasodium EDTA
Sodium Citrate (also called Trisodium Citrate) - it is milder than the 2 above
