I'm loving my hair today, and I thought I would share:
On Saturday night I flat twisted my 3 in. of hair into about 17 plaits all over my head.
I did this this by rinsing my hair in the shower first, and then using my fingers to separate each section for twisting.
Once the section was twisted, I would mix some paul mitchell original leave in condish, suave tropical coconut condish, and glycerin together (equal parts) and coat the section of hair completely with it.
Then I used a very, very wide tooth (3 prongs of metal with ball shaped bone tips) to slowly and detangle the ends of my hair-- just the ends were needed because the condish helped the rest of the lengths seperate and untangle as the condish was pulled through.
After it was detangled I flattwisted and braided at the ends so it wouldn't come unravveled.
I did this all over my head until complete and then put a bonnet on and went to bed. I didn't do much sunday (and some were still damp) so i just left the twists in until this morning (monday); when I unravveled the twists I had springy, stretched out coils all over my head, and they are sooo soft and shiny!!
My hair loved the glycerin/condish mixture!
I love it! I love it! I love it!
P.S. I have 3c/4a hair
