What Happens When.....Color related

So I bought Wella Color Charm Color. The red color on my bangs is a rinse and since I've been dcing a lot the color has faded and I need to put another rinse on it. What happens when you use a demi permanent color without the developer?

Are you trying to avoid possible damage from the demi-permanent? I think if you continue to up the moisture you should be fine. Otherwise, just put in another rinse. I think the lasting effects will be the same if you don't use the developer

I didn't buy the Color Charm Activator and all I have is 20 vol and I did want to avoid damage because I have been abusing this section of hair, lol. It's been fine so far, but I don't really wanna risk breakage.

The developer is what makes it "Demi". Without it, it will more than likely wash right out.
