Sorry ladies...i'm a little slow when it comes to the length:blush:! I have a short torso, I guess. It just seems that the distance from brastrap to MBL is fairly short...

I think midback is half of how many inches it is to WSL from the bottom of your bra...If you have 6 inches from you bra to your waist, then midback would be 3 inches under your bra..

I don't know if this is correct, but once I get past the bottom of my properly-fitting brastrap, I'm calling that MBL. At that point, I am 3 inches from my natural waistline.

BSL to WL is 4 inches for me so I consider MB to be 2 inches below BSL or Full BSL on me.

Before I stumbled across this discussion board, I thought mid back meant being in the middle of my back--which was the case with me being bra-clasp length. I never heard of hair being measured against the arm pit and bra clasp until I started reading the threads. So since my hair is about three inches below my clasp, then that's considered lower back in my opinion. Everyone has their own way of interpreting measurements regarding their hair.

I thought I was the only one! Apparently anything significantly below BSL is considered MBL here...

To me, brastrap length and midback length are the same, but that may be different for someone else who may have a taller torso.

Well I'm tall, almost 6ft to be more specific. So there's a difference between BSL and MBL for me. But now I wear my brastrap at the middle of my back. For me MBL is about 3 inches above my waistline.

Midback is maybe 1-2 inches past bsl on me. I am 5'4" :look:

*counting down the months (and inches!!) till I reach this length*

That's what I assumed. It's halfway between BSL and WL. My brastrap is only an inch or so above my waist so I really don't have a midback.

O.K. thanks so much ladies! Even though BSL = the middle of my back, I think I'll change my goal to 2 inches past the bottom of my bra strap...does this seem fair?

Ditto for me as well!!!

I am guessing depending on how tall you are MB should be between 1-3" past BSL..

I really dont agree with the chart but some people do so I guess it is your own personal preference where it is since people have different views about it.

Looks like to me that WL could be above, at, or just below the belly button. I got that from a member on another board. That's how she measured her WL hair. When I think about it, it does kinda make sense to look at it that way, but everyone has different views. Just throwing that out there..........
