What exactly is an S Curl

What is it? what products (non s curl products) can be used with it? I know someone who put one in her hair and now has no idea what to do. I've never had one and nobody I know has had one. She's strapped financially so I was wondering if I could donate to her any products that I already have.

So you're asking for care product recommendations? Here are the ingredients for the S-Curl No Drip Activator:

Ingredients
Water, Glycerine, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Acetamide Mea, Ceteth-20, Olealkonium Chloride, Stearalkonium Chloride, Panthenol, Simethicone, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance.

So, water and glycerin as a recommendation to her?

i was just wondering if there were certain types of products needed to maintain it without her hair falling out. Thanks though, from the look of that ingredient list she can use any ol leave in and moisturizer

it looks a lot more like a kinda dry jherri, not so much like i've known texturizers to look.

Really? Is it literally called an s-curl though? I just googled it and the s curl that I know only makes texturizers.

I know of those curly perms that you have to set on rods, like wave nouveau... in that case the hair is a lot like relaxed hair, you can use all types of products on that too.

she said it was an s curl. i didn't see the packaging so i'm not sure. she also applied it herself and knows nothing about hair, at all. so maybe it wasn't applied well. thanks ladies, imma just give her some of my stuff cause she says the only thing she's been putting in it is pink oil. :ohwell:

That will help her hair out by giving her some of your stuff. Becasue that pink oil used to dry out my hair when I used it.
