WHAT EXACTLY IS A CO-WASH?

I'm new to all of this healthy hair care. I have been reading many post about ladies co-washing. ???what is it???

co-wash= conditioner wash. Using no Shampoo to wash hair only a light conditioner such as Suave or Vo5 or Herbal Essence LTR or HH. Its moisturizing and helps me with thickness. I co- wash daily with HE mixed with alma or other indian powders.HHG

Hi and welcome! I had the same question when I first started. I had already been doing co-washes but just didn't know the term.

NO that is the wash. I use the conditioner itself and massage into my scalp and hair. Then rinse out and use a little more conditioner to detangle in the shower rinse. Use a little leave in and seal with oil. NO Shampoo is used. I use Shampoo once a week.
