Hi ladies! I need you expertise on this one. My hair is completely natural and when I wet it, it gets curly (small curls like straw size) all over, EXCEPT for a patch in the front middle (my weak area). This section is bone straight even when wet, even after being conditioned. What does this mean????? What can I do? :nono:

Have u been straightening ur hair? It sounds like it may be damaged..possibly heat damaged.

It can mean one of two things: Either that section is a totally different texture OR at some point it was heat damaged. Has that section ever curled or has it always been bone straight, as you describe it?

Well I just RECENTLY stopped going to the Dominicans for my weekly blow out. So I guess it's heat damage :-( that section (when blown out) is so thin. I have since stopped going there and have been doing my own hair. I am actually going to get a sew in on monday. I just started the mega tek and ordered the JBCO. is there anything else I should be doing!!

yeah hun it is heat damage :yep: I suggest using a light protein to nurse the hair to life and see some of the curl pattern return.

I have heard Mega-tek causes shedding. If your hair is already thin perhaps you want to skip that and just go with the JBCO. If focuse on the health of your hair and not growth aids you will see that length is a result of healthier hair.
