i bought some but really don't know what exactly to use it for.

Whenever I have WGO I like to use it while detangling it really helps me out alot. I also put it on my scalp.

Is this your first post?

I bought it originally to make my hair grow, but now I just use to make my hair softer. But I still put it on places that are short to see if it will make my hair grow. I'm not sure if it works, Im using so many products right now that I dont know if its the WGO working or something else.

thanks ladies!!!!
actually, i've posted lots since i've joined, but something has gone awry with my profile and someone in support is working on in...i hope it gets fixed very soon because i look so darned plain out here like this...:(

I use WGO on my wet hair to seal in moisture after washing. I also use it the night before I wash my hair. I have to work on the smell before I use it more than that. (I brought some peppermint oil thanks to the LCHF ladies!) I've noticed that since I've been using it my hair detangles better and it is softer and seems to be stronger or maybe thicker.

yeah, texasqt - i think the smell's bearable for me considering i attempted to use some carol's daughter products and they smell just as...as...herb-ally.

i think i'll not only use it on my scalp, but also after i wash and before i apply my leave-in...i hope that's not too much!

thanks a bunch!

I use it on my scalp only.

36to38 how about you switch up your new way of using it a little. I see you said on your scalp and before your leave-in. Why dont you use on it on your scalp, then put in your leave-ins (for moisture) the use the WGO on the hair last (to seal in the moisture.) HTH

I was going to say the same thing. Use WGO after your leave-in. I think it should be the last thing before you dry. When roller setting, I even use it on each section that I'm rolling after I apply my setting lotion too. Whatever you put on your hair after the oil may be blocked out by the oil.

thank you!!!! makes a LOT of sense!
i don't have enough hair for a rollerset, but i do plan on doing some bantu knots under a fall, so i'll do what you said...thanks again, sistas!

you cannot laugh at me anymore....

i'm HERE!!!!! with about -20 posts, tho, LOL!

by the way, i used it today after the elasta leave-in...my hair hasn't learned yet to suck all the oil in, but it feels so much better and i'm sure it will be much softer in the morning...

i wonder how this would do on skin...hmmmm...

i'll try it and tell you ladies how it works! it's expensive, but not as much as my weakness - fruits and passion's cucina lotion!

I also use it on my scalp and as a sealing oil. At first I couldnt stand the smell but its bearable now. I usually co wash everyother day during the week and shampoo on sundays. So after my leave in and moisturizer i put wgoon my scalp and hair and ends and put in a bun to dry and my hair doesnt smell the next day. It leaves my hair really soft and is the only "growth aid" (besides vitamins) i use and my hair has been doing great with it is one of my def. staple product. HTH

I use wgo throughtout the week on my scalp. I get dry patches, not all over my scalp but in a few spots so I put the wgo right on there and it really helps. I also use wgo on my hair ends before I pincurl at night and it does a good job of helping me hold the curl without leaving my hair oily.

I like my wgo, but I cut the smell by adding jojoba and vitamin e oil to a half empty bottle. I've been using it for 2 years now and nope I don't notice that it makes my hair grow - at all - the only thing so far that has made my hair grow for sure is "time".

well, ladies - this wgo oil has been in my head every night and i am LOVING IT!!! the jury's still out on how it works my dry skin...we'll soon see :D
