I have completely destroyed my ends trying to "protective style" with a french twist! :nono: I've got tiny little hairs breaking off and I am certain it's because of the bobby pins I used... What are you ladies using to secure your twists???

I prefer to use the plastic pins like the ones below. Sometimes I use the longer hair pins.

If you have thick hair, something like this might be better:

Hairpins are perfect for french twists...for me anyway:yep:

I use metal hair sticks, hair forks. Also I use the U-shaped pins that come with some electric rollers. They are smooth, gentle and dont pull your hair. I can not use hair pins because they pinch and pull my hair out.
