I use it straight and it has worked wonders. I don't mix it at all and I spray it on my scalp only. It makes my hair hard so I don't use it on my hair; only on my scalp.

HTH

I just spray it on my scalp too w/o mixing anything in it. I used it in one part of my hair especially. I just got a relaxer the other day and I notice that that one part is now stronger and longer than other parts I didnt spray it in. Surge works for me!

When I used it, I didn't mix it with anything. I only sprayed it on my scalp because it made my hair hard. I always followed up with some sort of oil (usually WGO) on my hair.

I concentrated on two spots. I had a spot at the back of my crown that was only about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long, broken off, and stick straight from all of the over processing. My hair would not grow in this spot and it didn't for several years. It stayed the same length and I know it wasn't growing because I wouldnt' have new growth their when I'd go for my relaxers but the hair dressers always put relaxerr on this spot anyway...:perplexed

I also had a spot on the left side of my head, right at the temple that was slick bald from my overprocessing when I first was trying to do my own relaxers. I think I just didn't rinse it out good in this spot.

Anyway, the hair at the back of my head started to grow and has continued to grow even though I haven't used Surge spray in over a year and the slick bald spot has grown in and you can't tell I ever had it.

I did notice a bottle of surge in my stash the other day, I may have to break it out and start using it again...:)

Where can I find surge locally!??

You can find it at local bss but sometimes all of them don't have cause sometimes its hard for me to find it out in L.A. or you can check there website.

Where can I buy Surge locally? I found their web site but they don't sell there. Is this in the regular BSS and I've just been missing it? I'm in the Atlanta Cobb County area.

I'm back from my run to Target and saw it there....I;ve seen it at CVS and Bed Bath & Beyonds that have a beauty section.

I add some WGO, Doo Gro Stimulating Growth Oil, Castor Oil, and Kemi Oyl to my Surge. I know that's a lot, but my hair is super dry and it really helps make the Surge stick to my head.
