What do you know about HGH?

I was looking through my old vitaminshoppe catalog and saw a vitaminshoppe brand of HGH in a spray like bottle. I have read a lot of stuff about it and the benefits are amazing! It was said that it's good for increased hair growth, reverse aging, sexual stamina and a list of other things that I can't remember. Oh, it has excellent metabolism where you can lose weight.

I know that there are many brands out there but I want to know have any of you heard of it or tried it. I'm thinking about trying it but I want to get more feedback plus I see that it's rather expensive.

I don't know too much about HGH. I know that my boyfriend took it for a little while for the purposes of weight training/muscle development, but he didn't notice a change to justify the cost. Its my understanding that most HGH supplements aren't actually HGH itself, but are a set of a few amino acids that are supposed to encourage the production of HGH in your own body.
If anyone knows more about this, or if I've posted misinformation please respond...
