What Can I add to a cheapo conditioner to make it a deep conditioner?

I ask this because I have a lot of cheapo conditioners that I am DETERMINED to use up before buying expensive conditioners but I do NOT want to harm the health of my hair.

These conditioners include:

VO5 Strawberries N Cream
Sauve Humectant
Tropical Garlic (unscented)

Is it enough to add OO and coconut milk and sit under the dryer with it or should I just pony up the money and buy a real deep treatment? I just have so much stuff sitting around the house, I would like to use it up before buying any new things.

a lot of people use inexpensive conditioners as deep conditioners with no problems...some add olive oil, some add honey, or both

I had several bottles of products I wanted to get rid of. I combined them all into one big bottle, added a few oils and I use this a pre-poo on me and daughters hair.

Co-signing. That's what I do with mine... I love my Suave Humectant so much more after adding honey and EVOO to it.

I'm not sure what else you can do other than add other oils are mix them up together...
