Do you trim to remove damage?
Do you trim for evenness/neatness?
Do you trim for faster growth?
Do you trim just because....?

Just curious. :)

I trim for eveness and neatness... trims make my ends look better and my hair look thicker. :yep:

I love how hair looks, falls, and feels with clean, even ends. Hair simply looks better! It's amazing what a fresh trim can do for a hair style. Also, it keeps split ends (the devil) to a minimum.

Same here! I also do it to get rid of any damaged, crunchy ends that I might have. Hanging on to damaged ends is a no-no if you want healthy hair. Also I agree with AudraChanell, it's also a good precautionary measure because it helps keep the ends in good condition.

I love trimming/cutting my hair now. It makes my ends look nice and neat and even. My hair feels better and swings better when i chop off old, damaged ends.

I usually trim only when there are damaged ends, but if I need to, I trim for evenness/neatness. I like my hair to be fairly even. It looks and feels much better. I does not have to be blunt cut, just pretty even and in a shape. For instance, my hair kind of grows in a V, so as long as it is a fairly neat and rounded V, I am fine ;)

Yes,
I trim for all the above mentioned reasons EXCEPT the last one.
I'm slow getting rid of my relaxed ends. I have about 2 1/2 inches left to go. Im too chicken to just cut it all at once  .

Do you trim to remove damage?
1) Main reason is to eliminate/exterminate split ends:) Therefore, less damage to the rest of my hair.

Do you trim for evenness/neatness?
2) When I took off my braids I had a lot of breakage on one side so I had to cut the other side (unfortunately) so they could be the same length.

if i trim i do it for neatness....i really dont believe trimming = faster hair growth.

Same here. Trimming to grow hair faster is a myth. The only reason why you believe it grows faster is because it look health and full.
