Felicia, I never tried the Biosilk line, but I experimented with Biolage.
At the time I was looking for a conditioner with slip such that I could comb my hair with the Jilbere shower comb under the showerhead. The detangling solution is nothing special, just an overpriced moisturizing conditioner. I won't repurchase it.
The Biolage leave in tonic is heaven sent. No matter what conditioner I precede it with, the tonic makes the combout easier. It's the ultimate in slip. I used up the entire bottle and replaced it with Pantene detangle light spray conditioner. It's cheaper, but has the same effect.
Now that I wash and deep condition with my hair in braided sections and detangle/combout my damp (NOT soaking wet) hair in front of the mirror, having slip in the shower is a non issue.

I just started using the Biolage leave in Tonic and it was terrific on my hair. My hair was definitely moisturized.
Bree- what did you move on to? The PJ in me had to ask

like megonw i moved on to pantene detangling leave in spray, which is GREAT for detangling and much cheaper.biolage was 11 a bottle(it aint that serious). and the detangler can't outdo my kenra or especially my elucence conditioner in the detangling factor, plus these conditioners do more than detangle.i hated using one conditioner than following it with the biolage detangler, time consuming and costly.
I really like both products but I only buy Biolage and Biosilk on sale...I have never spent more than 2.50 on the Biolage leavein spray(I have 4 bottles) and the Biosilk conditioner was $15 for 32oz or something...I agreed that they are expensive and I am at the point where Surge @ 5.99 is the MOST I will spend on any leave-in spray..

I have the Biolage Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Balm. They are very good in my opinion. I bought both for like $2 and some change back in January at JCPenney's. They were overstocked.
I love the silk therapy by biosilk I use after i take my rollers out and then blowdry my roots; it gives me that salon look and feel without having to go to the salon
Thanks for tellig me about the Pantene detangling levae-in spray. I paid $8 for the leave in Tonic but if Pantene does the same thing i'm gonna switch to that next. I am am also going to go to JC Penny and see if they have any sales.
